Stay at home mom

Yesterday I told my job that I will not coaching after this session is over. I ave decided that once we move I will be going back to being a mom full time. I will still be subbing for other coaches but will no longer be coaching team. It was a really hard decision and I'm upset about it but I know it is for the best. With rob traveling as much as he does and it increasing there is no way I can do the team hours because of the hours. I know I will not have child are and will have to be leaving early a lot and that is not fair to the girls or other coaches. I also have missed a lot of the kids school things and extra activities because of meets and practices and do not want to do that anymore. I love gymnastics and I love coaching team and seeing the girls improve not only in practice but at our meets as well. But I am excited to be able to stay home with the kids again. After Addie was born I did not work for two years until I started coaching again. It was a change but it was also nice to have the time away doing something I enjoyed. But with the move coming up and all that we have to do to get ready for it as we'll as move and our traveling we have planned I know I would just be overwhelmed and not able to get everything done...at least not well. I love that I have the option not to work and to be able to sub so I can still coach a little bit here and there. As for the new house..our foundation has been put in and now the rain is causing the process to slow down. Once we have decent weather they will be laying out where the driveway is and then start framing. It takes 11 days to frame the house and then we have a walk through before the drywall and everything is put in. I am excited for it to start looking like a actual house. We have been going through this process for so long and I cannot wait for it to be built and to move it. We need the space!!! I need my big kitchen!!! And I love our community already. Not only because my best friend is my neighbor but everyone I have met is so nice. A bunch of moms do play dates every week, people are always willing to help others out with child are which is great, and when weather is nice it's just a bunch of kids playing outside. The kids already have some friends on our block which is also great and will help make moving easier...especially for Alex who will be leaving friends he has had for awhile. Big changes are coming...scary but exciting!!!

WE BROKE GROUND!!!!!

A year later than planned we have finally broke ground! all this was suppose to happen last year at this time but due to possible job transfers for rob we had to hold off and are now starting on the new house! today they finally broke ground and on tuesday the foundation is suppose to go in. i am super excited to be moving into a nice, brand new, big house, with plenty of space for all of us and our crap! its a little scary to think we will have 2 mortgages in a few months since we are not selling our current home but renting it out. however it is nice to know that at the age of 32 we can afford to build a new house and have 2 mortgages when i know some people who can not afford one. even better we will be living right by my twin sarah and her husband aaron who is also robs best friend. here are some pics of todays events!
